SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Fraunces Tavern® Museum offers on-site school programs that are modified for the age and ability of each class. Students will learn about taverns as public meeting places in the 18th century and, in particular, they will understand the role Fraunces Tavern played in the American Revolution. Programs incorporate discussion, inquiry-based learning, and direct handling of objects and support New York State Standards for History of the United States and New York.

Elementary and Junior High
Group programs last 90 minutes and begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. These times can be modified if necessary.

School visit fees are:
$80 per class of 30 students or less
Teachers, leaders, and adult chaperones are not counted when determining group size.

All elementary and junior-high school groups must schedule a guided tour in advance.

Secondary, College, Adult, and Senior Citizens
Guided tours by appointment for your special group are subject to the availability of our docents and must be scheduled in advance. The charge for a guided tour by appointment is a $25 service fee plus general admission rate for groups of 25 people or less; $50 added for groups more than 25. We recommend groups be no larger than 25 persons for maximum enjoyment of the exhibits.

Reservations
If you would like to schedule a private group tour, call 212-425-1778, ext. 13. Leave a message that includes a contact name and number, preferred tour date and time, grade level or age group, and group size. Please indicate whether any member(s) of your group require special assistance.

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

SPECIAL OFFER! On Saturdays, our docents are available to conduct guided tours that are free with your museum admission. Tours are given on a walk-in basis, based on guide availability.
