Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, Inc. and its Fraunces Tavern Museum are joining the New York City Bar Association Legal History Committee to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the publication of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense. At this event, members of the New York City Bar Legal History Committee will orate selected readings from the text of Thomas Paine's book in person at the Museum.

This event is free to members of Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, Inc., Fraunces Tavern Museum and the New York City Bar Association. The public is also welcome to attend with payment of the Museum’s admission fee.

Museum Admission Fees:

Adults (18+): $10

Seniors (65+): $5

Students (w/ valid ID): $5

Children (6-17): $5

Children (5 and under): FREE

Active U.S. Military/Veterans (w/ ID): FREE

 Federally disabled and an attendant, with valid ID: $5

This event will be held in-person and available on Zoom. Readings will only be done by those who attend in person.
